Salted Caramel Espresso Martini

A decadent dessert espresso martini made with salted caramel espresso, caramel vodka and chocolate milk. A cocktail and dessert all in one!

I know I just shoved a cocktail at you not too long ago but I just couldn’t help myself here.

Most days I go for a light and refreshing cocktail that I don’t mind having two (or four…) of.  Hence my obsession with margaritas. But every now and then, I look for a treat that satisfies two cravings – sweets and an adult beverage.

But let’s hold up for one quick second – I have to get something off my chest.  I apologize in advance my absence lately (on my blog, Instagram, and Facebook) as my is life getting ridiculously busy for the fact that my wedding is a only 30 DAYS AWAY! Why does July 19th seem so close yet so far away?!  As every past bride (or just any chick that has had girlfriends/daughters/etc.) knows, the home stretch makes everyone want to pull their hair out. Please don’t tell me I am alone here?

And on top of it, my workload at my day job has doubled – wonderful, right? So please, please bear with me as I attempt to work, get hitched and blog! I’m not crazy. Please tell me I am not crazy.

Cocktail time.

I have a few thoughts on the perfect night cap and one of them includes booze in my sweets. I have done it once before and apparently everyone else is on the same boat I am. Pure bliss.

Desserts to me have to be usually chilled, in the form of a ice cream, ice cream cake, milkshakes, you get the picture. Sorry cakes and cookies, I am just not that into you. With a few simple ingredients, you can have an impressive martini in a jiffy.

A mixture of Salted Caramel Espresso from High Brew coffee, caramel vodka and chocolate milk is shaken (not stirred) together into one creamy cocktail. High Brew coffee is a new find and is right up my alley. It is an all natural cold brew (we all know how much I love cold brew!) and is sweetened with stevia and cane sugar. They offer quite a few flavors, but the salted caramel ranks the highest on my list. For mornings that I am rushed, these ready to go coffee drinks save my waist line and wallet from a stop at Starbucks! You can find them at Whole Foods.

As this month gets insanely busy, I will try to refrain from going crazy with a salted caramel espresso martini to relax my nerves!

This looks delicious! I can't wait to try it! I was so disappointed that High Brew isn't available on the East Coast - however, my husband is traveling to Kansas for business this week, so he's going to have to save some room in his suitcase to bring some back for me! Love your blog :)
