Oats and vanilla graham clusters s are held together with a peanut butter and honey mixture; making a healthy, no-bake protein granola bar to please any appetite!
Let’s continue along this healthy eating-feel good train!
As a kid, I would devour cereal. I looked forward to every morning with my date with sugary and honey loaded cereal. It never stood me up and never disappointed my taste buds. Looking back on it, I was drawn to the sweet, yet simple flavors of that character.
By the time my spoon hit the bottom of the bowl, the milk was slightly honey flavored, to not miss out on any deliciousness, I added more cereal until all the milk was consumed. None of that drink the milk straight out of the bowl to only be left with a mouthful of soggy crumbs and a milkstache. Sorry for all you milk-drink lovers.
I just could never bring myself to it.
Fast forward years later, I still love my morning bowl of cereal. Rather than my aforementioned honey cereal, I look for a more wholesome cereal that brings out the best in me and fuel me for the day. I value quite a few things in my life, and feeding myself with real food is among those. Beyond sneaking greens into my smoothies and eating a wide array of food, I value foods and ingredients that have been minimally processed.
Cereal still appears in my life. Not quite like it used to…big bowl of dry cereal while watching my fav show. But incorporated into granola bars has quickly become all the rave around our house. Great Grains Digestive Blend Vanilla Graham is superior on the crunch factor, beaming with warm. vanilla and loaded with cinnamon graham clusters that I may or may not try to pick out. Post Great Grains Cereal is filled with 30 grams of whole grains per serving so it brings out the best in me, knowing I am starting my day with a heart healthy bowl of cereal. Nothing against sugary cereal, it sure is sweet…but this chick needs a lil more punch with her morning fuel and Great Grains has nutrition you can see. Don’t a bad way to start my day! Check out Great Grains on Facebook all the other great nutritious flavors.
Great Grains Campaign “What Makes You Great” is encouraging women to express what they love about themselves – no need to feel selfish! Self love is very empowering. If you show love towards yourself, it will pour over onto everyone you meet. Now that is rewarding! During this campaign, women voiced that the best part of getting older was being comfortable in their own skin. Over the past few years, I have truly taken that to heart. Life is too short to worry about others thoughts.
