Food Trucks seem to be all the rave these days. What is not to like about killer food from a restaurant on wheels? They are usually serving up delicious combinations on the cheap. Who can complain about that?
Worlds of Fun has done it again. Earlier this year, the theme park hosted BBQ & Brew Festival and now they are hosting the first annual Food Truck Frenzy. Kansas City’s food truck scene is really booming and quite a few of them will be rolling up next weekend!
Jazzy B’s BBQ are serving up mouth-watering recipes on wheels. They are serving up jazzy soul, cajun and the BBQ classics. No one will be leaving hungry! The word on the street is that their BBQ Brisket Tacos are the best in town!
If flavors of the world are your thing, KC Pinoy is your truck! Meals in bowls seem to be such a hit right now. Filled with grain, delicious meat and topped with veggies galore. KC Pinoy are jumping on this trend. First, you choose your rice, jasmine or fried. Second, pick your meat. But good luck though, there is too many for my taste buds to decide on. From chicken adobo stewed in vinegar, soy sauce, and garlic. Or Tocino, thinly sliced sweet cured pork or Lechon Kawali, a crispy pork belly with lechon sauce. And lastly, add a fried egg if you wish, but let’s be real. Why wouldn’t you?
SnoFlower Shaved Ice is going to scoop, slurp and sip their way into your heart! They are made fresh to order, with a smooth and creamy texture. Their flavors are free of artificial dyes and flavorings. I already have my eye on pina colada, mai tai, cream soda, bubble gum or pine champagne.
Tito’s BBQ is a colorful truck you won’t miss. Tito means uncle the Filipino language of Tagalog. It is used to show respect to your relatives, friends, and elders. Tito’s is introducing his version of Filipino street food. Choose between Island Ribs, a sweet and tangy pork ribs or pork and shrimp egg rolls. A bit of sweet, a bit of spice but everyone will walk away craving more!
